The Management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua has called on all graduates who have completed their programmes in the institution to visit the school for collection of their outstanding certificates.
In a public notice issued by the Acting Registrar, Mr. Godswill Udofah, it was revealed that a significant number of unclaimed certificates, some dating as far back as 1995, are currently held in the institution’s registry.
He advised graduates to visit the institution to collect their certificates within the next three months, noting that failure to do so will result in a custody fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000) per annum.
The polytechnic further encourages anyone who knows concerned graduates to inform them of this directive to avoid additional charges.
